Springfield Symphony Chorus Nikki Stoia, Musical Director Welcome to the online home of the Springfield Symphony Chorus. The SSC is now in our 66th year and still going strong. We make our real home in Springfield, Massachusetts area. We rehearse at the Springfield YMCA. The chorus is an unpaid professional group of 120+ singers from the region by auditions held in early September of each year. Visit our history page for an overview of the beginnings of our chorus. The Chorus is associated with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra which performs in Symphony Hall. The orchestra and chorus collaborate on many works throughout each season. The chorus also performs in concerts on its own with chamber orchestras, our own accompanist, and other artists. |
